The Cheetah
Shamawari selected two of Abo Shamani’s cheetah to purchase for their game reserve.
The Buffalo
Two of the females are pregnant and expecting in August or September. The buffalo are sharing their territory with the rhino and are getting on well together.
The Lion Cubs

The seven lion cubs are very healthy. They are having a full meal every day and are getting so fat that they may need to go on a diet. Narnia, the youngest of the cubs, seems to be developing a real attitude towards her human visitors. Tito is finally looking less like the females and is growing a mane.
The Waterbuck
After the Impala, the waterbuck are our largest herd on the farm. They have settled wonderfully in their habitat and are flourishing.
The Zebra
All but three of the original Zebra herd were sold. Two additional zebra families were bought to enhance the quality of the herds.
The Giraffe
Huckleberry (the baby giraffe) will not be the youngest for much longer. His aunt is expecting a calf towards the end of the year.
